This is not an administrative purchasing role. We are looking for someone who can independently lead sourcing processes, negotiate with suppliers, analyze costs, and identify real savings opportunities.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>🔴 WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE?\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>You will be responsible for selected direct material commodities, such as \u003Cstrong>steel, stampings, machined and sintered parts, rubber, plastics, hydraulic oils, or packaging materials\u003C/strong>.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Your main responsibilities will include:\u003C/p>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>independently leading \u003Cstrong>price and commercial negotiations with suppliers\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>managing the complete sourcing process from \u003Cstrong>RFQ, quotation evaluation and cost analysis through supplier selection and nomination\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>identifying \u003Cstrong>cost reduction opportunities and optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>cooperating with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Logistics teams,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>leading purchasing and sourcing projects from initial assignment through implementation,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>monitoring supplier performance in terms of \u003Cstrong>Cost – Quality – Delivery\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>developing existing suppliers and identifying new ones,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>acting as the first point of contact for potential suppliers, particularly in the \u003Cstrong>Czech Republic, Poland, and other Central and Eastern European countries\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>supporting supply chain localization activities,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>resolving supply issues and supporting \u003Cstrong>risk management and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)\u003C/strong> activities,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>taking into account logistics costs, customs duties, and European legislation,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>cooperating with European and global teams.\u003C/li>\u003C/ul>\u003Ch3>🔴 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?\u003C/h3>\u003Cp>We are looking for an experienced purchaser who is ready to take full ownership of their own supplier and commodity portfolio.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Requirements:\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>at least \u003Cstrong>3 years of experience in direct material purchasing within a manufacturing company\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>proven experience in independently negotiating prices and commercial terms,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>experience in leading sourcing or purchasing projects,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>experience with direct responsibility for assigned suppliers and/or commodities,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>ability to read and understand \u003Cstrong>technical documentation and drawings\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, such as \u003Cstrong>steel, machining, or stamping\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>experience with RFQs, supplier evaluation, quotation analysis, and cost structure analysis,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>advanced Czech and English\u003C/strong>, including the ability to conduct commercial negotiations in English,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>at least secondary education in a technical or commercial field with a school-leaving examination; a university degree in a technical or commercial field is an advantage,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>good knowledge of \u003Cstrong>MS Office\u003C/strong>,\u003C/li>\u003Cli>a \u003Cstrong>Category B driving licence\u003C/strong> and willingness to travel within Europe.\u003C/li>\u003C/ul>\u003Ch3>⭐ WHAT WE OFFER:\u003C/h3>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>Annual bonus of up to \u003Cstrong>10% of salary\u003C/strong>\u003C/li>\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>4 weeks of annual leave + 1 additional week after the probation period\u003C/strong>\u003C/li>\u003Cli>Meal allowance\u003C/li>\u003Cli>Commuting allowance\u003C/li>\u003Cli>Company canteen\u003C/li>\u003C/ul>\u003Ch3>🚗 WHY IS THIS POSITION INTERESTING?\u003C/h3>\u003Cp>This is not a role where you will simply process purchase orders.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>You will have real responsibility for suppliers, commodities, costs, and sourcing decisions that directly impact European manufacturing plants.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>If you enjoy negotiation, numbers, technology, and finding better supplier solutions, this could be the right next step in your career.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Do you have experience in \u003Cstrong>direct material purchasing and the automotive industry\u003C/strong>?
